Ethyl Glycol Acetate (EGA / Cellosolve Acetate) is a high-boiling ester solvent with a mild, pleasant odor. It features slow evaporation and excellent solvency for nitrocellulose, acrylic resins, alkyds, and epoxies, making it a key coalescing solvent for architectural paints, wood lacquers, and specialty inks.
Clear, colorless liquid with slow evaporation rate (relative to n-butyl acetate = 0.2). Provides exceptional flow, leveling, and blush resistance in high-humidity spray painting environments.
Supplied in sealed 200kg drums for industrial paint, ink, and resin formulators.
