Product Code: KIC-ORG-001
Also known as: Formalin 37%, Formaldehyde 37%, Methanal Solution
Formalin 37% (Formaldehyde Solution) is a major chemical intermediate and broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent. Methanol is added as a stabilizer (7–10%) to prevent paraformaldehyde polymerization. It is used in resin manufacturing (urea-formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde), agricultural poultry house disinfection, and tissue preservation.
Technical Description
Clear, colorless liquid with a suffocating, pungent odor. Formulated with 37.0% w/w HCHO and stabilized with methanol to ensure physical clarity across variable storage temperatures.
